You Are Perfectly Made.
“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” – 2 Corinthians 12:9
The other night i was at bible study, like i am every Tuesday night. We began reading the bible and communicating to each other on how we can make a better understanding of Gods word. It’s so incredibly hard to understand something that is so huge and hard to wrap our mind around. We started reading “Ephesians 1” after reading this section the youth pastor said “isn’t crazy? Paul is unworthy but God picked him anyway. God picked Paul to share Gods word after Paul expressed his doubts in the Lord”. Take a minute and think about how much doubt we share in ourselves? How hard we can be and judgmental we our to ourselves. Regardless of what we do, how we look or how imperfect we must be. God looks down on us with all our mistakes, damaged past and regrets but, still loves us anyway. Someone once said to me “No matter what you’re feeling right now or what you’ve done you’ll always be perfectly made in the eyes of God”. Isn’t that amazing to think about?
God created all of us because he thought we were worth creating. Ecclesiastes 3:11 says “He has made everything beautiful in time”. Every creation is made through Jesus Christ and every creation shares beauty. Watching a sunset, traveling the world or falling in love those are all beautiful parts of life. Embracing the good and learning to love the things about yourself you’d rather change releases any doubt you may have in yourself. You are perfect in the eyes of our king, Jesus Christ. Isn’t that enough to rejoice about? You are a child of God. You are wonderfully made, dearly loved and precious in his sight. When God made you he knew you were incredible.
Whenever you’re struggling and needing a reminder hold on to this verse. “I praise you for i am fearfully and wonderfully made”. Psalms 139:4
