Hello there!

Hello there!

It’s been a while since i introduced myself to you guys so i thought i’d come on here say hi and tell you a little about myself.

My name is Raquel Alexis Rothschild but i typically go by Raquel Rae. I was originally named by the american actress “Raquel Welch”. As i got older people often struggled to pronounce Raquel Rothschild so as i began performing i decided to go by “Raquel Rae”. I’m 20 years old and i was born and raised in Peoria, Arizona until i was about twelve. I grew up competing in pageants, modeling contest and singing contest. I quickly found modeling, acting and being a musician was something i was very passionate about. At a young age i began to focus on furthering my abilities to make being an entertainer a future career. I moved to San Antonio, TX at the age of thirteen to pursue acting then shortly moved to Nashville, TN a year later for songwriting. I’ve definitely traveled a lot haha. Life for sure seems to be exciting, crazy and full of adventures. I’m currently a BMI Nashville songwriter,  Signed to “1836 Music Group” with my first official record deal and recently signed to “The Young Agency” as a model/actress represented by a Arizona talent company. I love taking on new projects and becoming educated on many different topics. Soon I’ll be releasing new collaborations, new music and something i’m very excited about.. a christian based podcast! Sharing the word of God and walking a line of faith is something that’s become so close to my heart. I’ve always been very insecure and was the type of person who searched for the approval of others. I based my whole life around if others liked me and if they didn’t I’d literally become extremely depressed. I wanted to do anything and everything to be perfect. It took me a while before i took a step back and became aware of my struggles. I began focusing on the little things and being vocal about the challenges i face. I want to build a platform of sharing encouragement and talking about things that are typically not brought up. A few examples would be mental/emotion abuse, dyslexia, depression and social acceptance. So many times people struggle and they’re to afraid to speak up because of the fear of others reaction. Never be afraid to use your voice. That’s why i started this website to share my thoughts and myself with you via. blog. Little facts about me my favorite color is blue, i love pasta and corny jokes. I love traveling to new places and social media is one my least favorite things. Also I’ll be attending Arizona State University studying in their musical theater program.  Mostly I’m devoted to following Jesus and wherever he leads me. I hope you will join me on this journey of life and be apart of the next chapter to come. I’d love to hear from you! Send me a message on this blog and/or subscribe to the site!

Much Love -Raquel Rae
